Clay brings over 11 years of business development, financial management and leadership experience to Five Elms. In addition to deal sourcing, Clay is focused on creating and optimizing distribution relationships with registered investment advisers and regional broker/dealers, helping them attract and retain high net worth investors who are searching for alternatives to traditional public equity markets. He played a key role in the growth of the bank brokerage division of Raymond James, deploying full-service investment platforms to commercial banks with $50 million to $3 billion in assets. Prior to Five Elms, Clay led the transformation of a small, regional construction equipment fabrication company into a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of proprietary products throughout the US and Latin America. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
